Ever experienced Harma valves?

Re: Ever experienced Harma valves?

save your dough on the cryo treated folklore---leave it to the audiophiles.

Re: Ever experienced Harma valves?

I'm not doubting the physical transformation of matter when it's exposed to sub-arctic temperatures. The exact opposite, annealing, will change the properties of a given metal.......I just don't know how all of that will correlate to the performance of a given tube.....and I don't want to shell out the x-tra loot for all that.....

Re: Ever experienced Harma valves?

I am not actually too bothered about the cryo thing. I am more interested in the fact that it is manufactured by Harma. They say on Watford that they are the EL84 that give the most headroom.
