Everyone, meet Annie!

My favourite guitar tones have always been from single coils, but my favourite body shape is a Jazzmaster with reverse headstock.. So what did me and Nick from Perri Inc do? Combined the two! Here she is! Should be here late this week, early next!

Spec wise, it's alder body, maple neck (duh!), locking tuners, Bare Knuckle Irish Tours with baseplate on the bridge, and an on-off toggle for each pup. Yes the neck on is more "on its own" then the others, that was on purpose.. I'm somewhat clumsy and since thats the pup I switch on and off most we decided to give it more room to breath. Oh ya and he hooked me up with gold covers! Never seen that on single coils before and really dig the look.

Now the crappy part.. Waiting for it to get here!

For a while, CBS/Fender offered the offset waist guitars with maple fingerboards with black block inlays and binding.

Re: Everyone, meet Annie!

That is beautiful.

*edit- I just looked up prices...now I am sad.

Annie is a real sweetheart of a looker. Bet it sounds just as sweet. Enjoy!

I really like the idea of a strat setup in that shape. We automatically think of Filtertrons, P-90's, or Jaguar pickups, but I like strats more.

Killer guitar. I'm sure that cost a pretty penny. Great design....just great.

I made a point of going down to Perri Ink on Melrose one Saturday, but of course he wasn't there, only his tattoo artists. Where does he actually build his guitars?

Not sure where he builds them, I have a bunch of photos of him in some back room working away on guitars. When did you go visit? He was in Philli for a month or so recently getting ready for the Silvertide reunion shows, if I ever get to LA I really want to visit the shop!

Awesome, man. Lately I've been liking the sound of Strats more and more, but I don't get along very well with the shape. Since the offset Fender thing is, aesthetically, my favourite guitar style, this appeals to me a whole hell of a lot.

Anyway, killer guitar. Enjoy it! :beerchug:
