Van Halen's 1984 (or any others if you know)

G N R Appetite

Did they just use single SM57s? Was EVH Green's and Slash V30s?

hard to say what Ed used at any given time but from all things said in the press Ed's studio tone of that day was his 60's Marshall head and cab...
