The Wolfgang is a nice guitar, but those pups have to go. I just don't see the point in making a 'replica' of something if the same base materials of the original aren't used. Something like body wood does make a difference in tone.

If tone or authenticity was the inspiration instead of money these would be important considerations. These guitars were inspired by Fender selling outragously priced SRV replicas to dopes with more money than sense, not anything EVH ever played. Exactly the demographic these are aimed at.
