EVH fender $25,000 frankenstrat duncan pickup

i just found out motorcity pickups makes a copy of the fender EVH $25,000 frankenstrat guitar pickup,the one seymour duncan makes that wont sell.it called a blissterbucker pickup and you want it with an alnico 2 magnet..stock it comes with an alnico 5 magnet..the alnico 2 is what the EVH guitar uses.here are some sound clips of the pickup through a plexi...

Motor City just made pickups for a new guitar for Ty Tabor as well, also not listed on the website. We are so spoiled by SD having such an informative, detailed website site :14:

cool,i did not know that.i guess one of the companys motorcity pickups makes pickups for had a fender relic EVH guitar and liked the pickup so they had motorcity copy it..this is a great forum,most sites would censor what people say regarding products other than there own,so i give seymour duncan a lot of credit...

Just curious, why would the Blisster Bucker pickup come with an A5 magnet, if it is a replica of the $25k Frankenstrat's pickup? I don't understand that part....

because wade from motor city likes the alnico 5 magnet better,but to have an exact copy of the fender duncan pickup it has to be an alnico 2...yeah a little bit of a commercial ,but more important a pickup that alot o people like and cant just go and buy...

And how would anyone verify that? It is not like Seymour Duncan can confirm the specs, and anyone could claim they built a copy. There is no way to verify the information.

The clips sound nice, but it is nothing you can't get with a Custom Custom or a '78.

i played the copy next to the real pickup in the fender copy guitar,i guess you would have to do the same thing to varify it.it sounds way better than a custom custom or the 78,i have had both pickups.there good but not correct for the tone..bmf5150 is a nice guy but not a very good player.i guess you would have to try one for your self..

That is just SICK. I'm buying A2 and A5 Blisterbuckers and a Ty Tabor model soon as I can. :notworthy

The 78' sounds every bit as good if not better with the right amp and effects. I think if I were able to plug my ash Strat/78' into that rig, it would sound even better.

i was trying to help out my fellow EVH heads here because i kept reading post of people asking about the fender 25k pickup and not being able to get it.im not trying to hurt anyone feelings here..i have lots of other duncan pickup,they have gotten lots of my bussiness.
