I saw that too. Smoking when you had cancer or the threat of cancer is one thing but doing that to your guitar is murder!

He's ALWAYS done that. That's one of his many signature "looks" while playing.

Is there any reason for him to design a new amp? How much can one persons taste change? He does always manage to sound great with everything new he tries though. What about a amp that has his plexi tone on channel 1, Soldano F.U.C.K. tone on 2 and the 5150 stuff on 3? Add some EVH effects and it may be sweet

I got the audio in a disjointed stop start array. It's just something like 30 seconds in the middle of something. Not knowing the context of what came before, or after, and considering the quality of the audio, let's not judge his playing too harshly. I know I don't consider myself one who should be too critical of someone like Edward Van Halen.

That's just wrong, but I say yes. Worse yet, I'll bet he'll find a pharmaceutical company to license it to so all his aging fans can have the official EVH colostomy bag. Then after a year he'll leave that endorsement deal to go with another company that will mass produce the bags in Korea for less money and to increase his profits. Maybe he'll license out pinstriped catheters too, and name it 5150, and the colostomy bags 5150 II.

There's a "brown sound" for ya!
...and suddenly Colostomy forums will be flooded with threads by aging rockers who are deperately seeking the ways and means to stripe their own colostomy bags. They will get together with their photobucket accounts and compare bags. The Great Colostomy Bag Striping will be a national craze, and people everywhere will stripe up their colostimy bags in the famed red, white, and black so that they, too, might be a part of that glorious time.
