EVH vs Seth Lover??

what are the diferences?
anyone has tried them both?
also, is the EVH spaced for a les paul type guitar, or a "super strat" (locking tremolo) guitar.

The custom shop could make the '78 model for you in either F space or standard.

Welcome to the forum!

All I remember for sure is that the 78 is wound a little hotter at 9k. That, and gripweed is right about the spacing.


Also, FTR, it's the 78 model - there is no EVH anymore.

Lots of great music recorded on non tremspaced pups in tremspaced guitars....Van Halen comes to mind.

I just installed my 78 in my PRS last night. That pup is completely different than any other I've ever used. Honestly I couldn't see it sounding bad in a guitar with good wood.

I'll have a review up in 7 days.

My 78 EVH at 9.1 k with Antiquitys in neck and middle sound great in Custom Made Strat.
