EVH's Kramer neck up for sale

rockstarguitars.com is selling EVH's Kramer "beak neck" that was on his frankenstrat...this is the same neck that he used at the US festival (and most of the Diver Down tour) and is in the JUMP video...someone buy this because i'm about to pass out...the owner is asking for $25000 or best offer

here's the pics...it's beyond a doubt the same neck...said it comes with a 100% letter of authenticity...i believe the guy...

a) you can tell from the pattern that it's the same neck...
b) ed gave stuff away all the time...the frankie has had numerous necks on it...this one was on it for a REAL long time though...oh man...

Interesting...... It's amazing what some crazy fans will pay a bank load of money for.... That Pete Townshend Smashed LP i posted yesterday will get some high bids i'm sure.... Then this neck here some crazy VH fan with some serious money will snatch it up....

I have doubts that it is the real one. The wood color where the 'a' is partially missing looks lighter than the rest of the headstock indicating it could have been recently removed with an exacto knife. The fretboard looks to have some gloss finish on it. Eddie used unfinished necks, unless this one was an exception. I guess proof is seeing a copy of the letter and getting the letter authenticated. It's amazing how some people would make a fake letter of authenticity.

worth $25000 'cuz it has some other guy's germs on it? I don't get it man.

I mean Van Halen is Van Halen but I think the music's more important than the piece of wood he made it with. Maybe this is ENCHANTED wood and the owner will suddenly have magic fingers but ummm....Warmoth does strat necks too.

Does it have his blood on it? If so, I may buy it and see if I can pull the DNA off it, then use it to clone Ed. I'll lock my kid in the basement with a guitar and make him practice day and night from the moment he can sit up. Then he'll make me millions. (insert diabolical laughter)
