Resistance isn't the same as output, gotta take the magnet into the equation! Evos may "only" be 13,84 k but the ceramic magnets in there are very strong and together this results in a seriously hot pup(pretty simliar in output to my dimebuckers imo) that's a lot clearer than most ultra high resistance passives.
nothing wrong with unforgiving setups on my side. I shred on accoustic to practice clean and precise playing
EMGs, Evos , Singlecoils and my Engl(bright and clear enough to be called unforgiving) make my setup pretty hard to play for most people, but i like it.

It's got lower output than any pickup in Duncan's Custom line.
To be certain, though, nobody is going to use an EVO to record their clean lines.

I feel like I have to try harder with the less forgiving ones, or they end up muddying up my technique.
