he really should be 100% honest with people!

From previous threads, I think he doesn't quite understand honesty.

Re: Excellent Auctions

Listen guys, I have met Zack several times, and we have spoken on the phone dozens of times. He is a good guy and like I said before I have done business with him before and I woluld do it again...in fact I have snet him a PM about something he has for sale! If you are not gonna buy something or atleast ask about something please stop filling this thread with the same remarks over and over again...Zack is a good guy and for some reason he gets hammered by lots of guys here for no real good reason.

I was asking because I wanted to know if I can talk to him about it or if I should just bid, because it made a professional impression at first.....

Sorry for wanting to be an informed buyer....... :laugh2:

I don´t care about the kid, just the gear, that´s what the trading post is for ;)
Mwahaha, I tried to sound professional. I can usually let things go for more than I bought them for. But as you guys know I owe an ass load of money, and I'm trying to get it back. No, I'm not a dealer, just unloading things for cash.

For whatever its worth, this guy being a little less than honest. He's auctioning off a Custom Trembucker in white that he "bought from GC for $75.00" when in reality he bought it from me for $69.95 (including SH). A small detail indeed, but it may be reason to use some caution. The guy even stole my auction photo!
Ah well, this is true. I get it all confused, bought a couple of JB Jr's from Guitar Center around the same time..... yeah, I did buy them from you Martin. Sorry guys. As for that Telé picture.... I couldn't find a picture of it online. As for the loaded body and neck I'm about to sell, I will be taking actual photos of those since the neck is upgraded.

Ahem...

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha, nice try.
It's sitting in its box in the plastic with the warrenty and paperwork just like it was on the day it arrived....

Can you clarify what this means?

And I wasn't aware that the 59 and the Custom Custom are BOTH the highest rated Seymour Duncan pickups of Musiciansfriend. Could you explain that to me? The 59 clearly has higher ratings than the Custom Custom.
It's a custom.

Custom:
Features: 9.58
Quality: 9.67
Value: 9.25
Overall: 9.75

'59:
Features: 9.58
Quality: 9.92
Value: 9.67
Overall: 9.75

That makes sense.

Re: Excellent Auctions

Its cool bro! Doesn't seem to be any harm done, at least from what I can tell. Good luck with the sales.

Then how could you take a picture of it on a white piece of paper?

Look at the description. He says he got it back in 1981 but he's 15. He is lying one way or the other! But maybe he does tell a few wee lies in the item description, but looking at his feedback score on ebay those who buy from him seem very happy.
Yeah guys.... I've never gotten a negative feedback. "I" didn't get it in '81 but someone sure did. Does it really matter if I did or not? It's an amazing pedal nonetheless that I bought off Christian.... a very trustworthy guy. I think he's going to buy it anyway. The only neutral feedback I remember came from the guy I sold my CS-3 to because my school email blocks messages.

And I will say, I hear you're a good guy Matt. From my experience, you were very nice and helpful with my transaction. If you need new Duncans off eBay or wherever, PM him first. A pleasure to deal with.

Re: Excellent Auctions

BTW fellas, after reviewing all the theads here, I think we really need to cut Zack a break. When I posted my initial thread of "concern", I didn't even realize we were talking about a fellow forum bro! (I need to read more carefully sometimes!)

I looked back through my transactions, and as Christian has already said, I can say I had no problems whatsoever with the transaction. I think its just a simple case of not rememberinig where stuff came from, which I'm sure we've all done at some time.

One of the best benfits of this forum is our ability to talk things out and gain mutual respect with our forum brothers. I don't think Zack is trying to pull a fast one....

Lets move on.

not just duncans, i've bought orange drops, a graphtec nut and ferraglide saddles from MSSC, and he's an absolute dude. fast, polite and no problems with shipping to the UK.. he's my first port of call for any of the above stuff..
