Exchanging pickups to p-90 phat cats

Hello. I am teh total n00b.

I am about to exchange the stock pickups on my epiphone les paul studio to phat cats, I have never exchanged pickups, is it hard and risky for a n00b ie should I just take it to a technician to do it for me, or should it be ok..

Ah yeahhh well ive soldered before. I don't have a solder though so ill just get the store guitar tech to do it.
