Extending this friedman combo amp to a cab

Hello,

It me... again. Thanks so much everyone who has chimed in on my previous questions the past few days, I appreciate it big time. I'm getting a serious education.

OK so my latest question (and hopefully last question for a while)...

I want to get a friedman dirty Shirley amp. It has been suggested to me to go with the big version by someone on this forum, so i'm researching it. Here's the thing, getting a 2x12 cab to go with the full size DS head, is a bit out of my budget at this point. So I was thinking of possibly plugging a DS head into my mini jubilee cab (which I asked about in a previous thread but have not seen an answer yet).

But I was thinking more and, if possible I think I'd prefer to have the combo version of the DS amp, because I think associating it with a dif speaker will give me more variety and it would be within my budget. Also would be cool to have it as a "grab and go" combo when need be. However, I was also thinking it would be cool to sometimes plug the DS combo into my mini jubilee cab to extend it for it's 2x12 functionality, until I can afford the get the proper matched cab in the future. Would it be possible to plug and extend this combo amp:

into this cab:

???

It says there are two output jacks, in the specs of the DS. I do not see them. Are they hidden behind the back of the combo where the speakers are? Or is what I'm describing not possible?

If there is a port to extend into a cab somewhere on the amp, how can I confirm that it is compatible and will not conflict with the 8ohm impedance of my mini jubilee cab?

If you could offer some guidance, it would be much appreciated. THANKS!

Re: Extending this friedman combo amp to a cab

I believe that the speaker jacks and impedance selector switch are hidden by the back top panel, on the bottom of the amp chassis.

You should be able to run the Marshall cab with the Friedman combo, though you may not want to run three speakers due to a slight impedance mismatch.

The combo is wider than the Marshall cab, so I would not place the amp on top of the cab, as it could be unstable.

Sweetwater may be able to provide more info.

Good luck.
