I can't believe that! WTF?! Damn snipers...i just missed a couple custom DiMarzio Petruci pickups...Those which are mounted on the EBMM signature guitar...

Anyone here is interested to selling them?

Trust me, those pickups ****ing BLOW.

Petrucci has been redesigning them with DiMarzio, because everyone, including him, hates them. He's been using Drop Sonic's on his 6 strings lately, too.

I have to agree with DSS3. I tried out the Petrucci MM on a few different amps, and was amazed that someone with Petrucci's skill could actually stamp his name on those pickups. The guitar wasn't bad, but I hated the pickups.

Honest? That was the C+ era....the C+ is my main amp..i guess those p.u. are designed after that amp....am i wrong?

What tone of Petrucci's do you like? Chances are, it wasn't with those ****ty pickups.

man... those pickups sound like total ass! the guitar isnt realy anything special either. big props to petrucci that he can shred like that on it. cos the feel totaly sucked for me

Hmm... I can't remember if that was done right before his signature axe, or right after.

I still say a Steve's Special/Air Norton set into a Recto or Mark IV nails Petrucci tone.

Steve's isn't that bad..i've had it.. It's very mid-scooped, clean pickup but a bit too harsh for my taste..
Air Norton is fine, nothing *special*
