F.S. 1994 MIM 40th Anniversary 50's Reissue Antiquity Stratocaster/Jeff Beck Harness

Up for grabs is my 94 MIM 54 Deluxe R.I. & Graphic Hardcase. This is by far the best playing & sounding Strat that I've ever owned including my USA Standards! The action is very low & there's absolutely no fret buzz or string rattle. Just lots of Straty goodness, LOL!!!

It's got a set of Duncan Texas Antiquity's in it & a Jeff Beck harness (both tones work for all 3 pickups) built on top of a Aluminum grounding plate. The harness was built by Madison's Music in Detroit out of top of the line components including PIO capacitors!

The guitar has a very nice & mostly natural light relic look to it. The only thing that's been forced to look older than it actually was is the plastics (switch tip, knobs, Ect.) The guitar has 50's style tuners, a chunky C profile neck with almost satin finish, and aside from one tiny little ding it's in perfect condition! It will ship in a very nice and very secure hard case complete with a built in tuner. Just the case itself is a $200 value & let's face it, MIM's were just made better back then? Between the Graphics Hardcase, Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups, & beautiful sounding harness you'd essentially be getting the guitar for free!!!

This Strat body is a real 50's style body and it's routed for 3 singles, so no humbucker or swimming pool routes. Personally I think this adds a little something to the tone, I find that the modern style swimming pool routes, while useful, give the guitar a more hollow sound? This thing has all the feel & mojo of a real Antique Strat, because it basically is a real antique Strat??? Well I guess at 23 years old it isn't quite a antique yet but not very far off? I've owned it since the beginning of 98 & it was a NOS item when I purchased it. I don't remember exactly what I spent on it but I do know that they were more costly than the other MIM's of the time. Just an awesome, awesome, guitar at an amazing price & a bit of a collectible one as well!!!

$400.00 SHIPPED, P.P. Gift or add 3.5% for fees.

Price is firm and I'm not really looking for any trades right now, although I'd probably consider trading it for the right amplifier? Please feel free to ask me anything about it that you'd like to know & there will be more pictures to follow....

Why thank you Frank!!!

Funny anecdote, I've got this thing listed on Reverb for a bit more than its listed for here. I guess because I wrote something like what I have here in regards to the case someone just asked me to deduct $200 for the case plus knock an extra $50 off the price??? :wrf:

Basically he wanted me to ship it to him for $200!!! After the shipping and various fees I would have gotten like $150 for it? I could have done better at a flipping pawn shop for Heavens sake!!! Since I don't smoke crack & the guitar isn't stolen I declined..

I don't know, perhaps I should go to the dealership and see if they'll sell me a brand new Caddie 1/2 price if I let them keep the tires??? You guys know I don't mind giving someone a deal but that was just F-ing ridiculous!!!

Both tone controls are on in all switch positions? and they have different cap values?

I want to say they share a capacitor but I can't honestly remember right now? It's been five or six years since I've pulled that guard off & looked at it. I will get it pulled & some pictures up for anyone who is curious later on today....

So I still haven't pulled the guard but here's a stock photo of the harness. I've got a different kind of oil can on mine but this should give everyone the general idea? If anyone is seriously interested in the guitar I'll happily pull the guard and send you actual pictures, I'm just too lazy to take off my strings and all that right now.

So you'd get this harness with the Seymour Duncan Texas Antiquity Stratocaster pickups attached to it, all stuffed inside one of the best players I've ever had the pleasure of owning...

Oh, & a case too, LOL!!!

I've done many deals with Nostalgic Distortion, great guy to work with. Great price on the Strat too.

EDIT: Don't want to clog up this thread with posts and someone think its sold–what he said below goes both ways–we've both sent pedals back and forth to try out before finalizing the sales.

Thank you my friend!!!

I would like to take a moment and say that the same fact rings true in regards to Trey! He's a great guy to deal with & a great guy in general! He's also extremely trustworthy!!! One of the few people that I have absolutely no problem sending an item that I'm selling & then telling him to pay me whenever he can....

Would you be interested in a trade for a VHT Special 6 Ultra? Its got less than 10 hrs of playtime and comes with original tubes plus the JJ's I put in it..

It works perfectly and I could show you th Amazon receipt so you know when it was originally purchased, etc. I play mostly through DI/VST (Bias) these days and would use that strat way more

Price drop!!! $360 P.P. Gift or add 3.5% for P.P. fees...

That is as long as you don't mind taking it in a smaller molded Fender H.S.C... The Fender case offers the same level of protection, possibly more because the guitar will move around less? It just doesn't have the built in tuner & pretty picture on the front...
