F\S Peavey Classic 30

Not your ordinary Classic 30. This one has been recovered in Red elephant Marshall Tolex. Front end of preamp modded to Fender specs. All coupling caps changed to either silver mica or Sprague orange drops. New JJ 12ax7s and EL84 quad recently installed. Brand new Eminence Governor also installed.
Does a nice Fender clean to a decent Marshall crunch. $400 shipped in CONUS. P.M. or email for pics.

Its a great sounding speaker. Very full and warm.

The biggest difference to my ears is on the clean channel. It sounds more focused and shimmery. If that makes any sense. It also added a little oomph to the gain channel also.

I'm selling this to fund the purchase of a 100 watt Carvin head.
