Re: fairytale brand guitars

The Fender Squire guitars did not originate in Australia, they were made in Japan. At no point was it ever claimed that they were built or originated in Australia, they were shipped into this country.

Neither are they 'fairytale'.

ya just can't let it go, can you? I wonder what happens if someone tells you they love you....i guess they need to undergo intense testing and present the appropriate paperwork.

Perhaps you should stick with simply knowing everything, as clearly humour is not your strongpoint.

A bite! :nana:

BTW, I am still waiting for anybody on Planet Earth to post photographs of a Japanese "Squire" electric guitar. I can wait all day, if necessary. NOTE: Using Letraset or Photoshop is cheating. :chairfall

Re: fairytale brand guitars

For the record, I had no hand in saying that Squire was a brand.

I just stated that the thread resembled my two year old throwing a fit when I put him down for a nap.

As for Fairytale guitars, I've never heard of them, and google didn't pull up much. My guess is they're a house brand of some kind, or possibly a distributer got tired of putting everyone else's guitars out on the market, and decided he wanted in on the fun.

Aren't those endorsed by the Pink Unicorn Horsey? seems a good match...

Never suggested that you did, B. Just name checked you because I thought the joke might tickle your funny bone.

Re: fairytale brand guitars

If by odd chance you still want more info, here is what I know. I bought a used Fairytale copy of Martin D-35 in Seattle maybe 11 years ago, at Guitar Center. Compared it to "real Martins" in acoustic room. For $160 it was close enough. Sticker on inside stated "World's finest guitar". Sorry I don't have any pics to post. I live in Thailand and it is under bed in case back in the states. It is a very good guitar, btw, it is fairly close to Martin in sound. Was made in Japan. Holds tune very well (I go back once a year, pull it out and still in tune).
I suppose you could pm me if have any questions, comments etc
