Which famous people have got there tone from soapbars? I was thinking about this last night and sadly all i came up with were Pete Townsend and Tony Iommi, do you know anybody else?

According to the SD Artist Database, the guitar players from Collective Soul and Sugarcult use 'em, if that means anything to you.

Neil Young has a P90 in the neck position of his Les Paul ebony. Minihumbucker in the bridge. And, of course, I use them as well.

Joe Satriani has an Ibanez JS with P-90's but I don't know the songs where they've been used :smack:

Mark Knopfler used a hollow body with P-90's on "On the Night" concert with Latest Trick.

didnt we determine (from web links) that david gilmour used a p90 equipped les paul for the 'comfortably numb' or 'brick in the wall' or some other famous solo ? .. i remember the shock and awe among those (myself included) who wouldve sworn on our worn out copy of 'the wall' that it was a strat
