so i was just wondering if you guys think i picked the right pickups out for my fender standard fat stratocaster. i've changed the pickups out before to fender vintage noiseless in the neck and middle and a duncan pearly gates in the bridge and liked it ok. i never liked the fender noiseless too much. the pearly gates also was faulty when i got it but the guitar repair guy was able to make it work somehow but never to it's full ability and for some reason the duncan was out of phase with the middle pickup with the five way switch.
anyway i decided to buy 2 dimarzio area 61 noiseless single coils for the neck and middle in combination with a seymour duncan sh-11 custom custom humbucker in the bridge. the stratocaster does have a maple neck so i hope it's not to bright of a humbucker for the guitar? what does anyone think? also how do i get the seymour duncan in phase with the dimarzio area 61 middle pickup?
