I recently went shopping for a phaser pedal and after trying as many as I could, I settled on this one:

It's Red Witch, Deluxe Moon Phaser.

of the 1000s of phasers I've owned since EVH got me to buy a guitar, only these lasted longer than a month and are my personal favorites in order

1. Small Stone USA version 4 (big box w/ LED) -- this is the only phaser I own. I own 3 pedals total right now. This, dirt, delay.
2. ADA Final Phase
3. HBE Psilocybe
4. Small Stone Nano version
5. EVH Phase 90
6. Moog 6/12 Stage Moogerfooger
7. DOD FX20B Stereo Phaser
8. Boss PH-3

The worst ones were an EHx Polyphase Reissue, and a Digitech Hyperphase, which wasn't an actual pedal, just an asshole. I'd like to get a '74 RI Phase 90 or a Whirlwind to go with my Small Stone. Love the Red Witch, too.

so I've been using my phaser again. I like it with a stereo pair of amps, but on one side only. Try it!

I've been thinking fondly of Phase 100s and getting another of those, she-doobie, because, as you may very well be cautiously aware, my brains are splattered all over Manhattan, she-doobie.

EVH Phase 90 does everything I want out of a phaser...it's probably a catch 22, I was/am such a fan of Ed's playing that the only phase the sounds "right" to me is the Phase 90.

I've got an MXR '74 RI which I really like. However, it was battery only till I modded it slightly, and it has no LED which is a pain in the patoot since I sometimes can't tell if it's on or off without adjusting the sweep.
