Favorite inlay material for roasted maple? (Haters need not apply)

I've had massive success with inlay stickers from this place: https://www.inlaystickers.com/ Had their block inlay stickers on my 24-fret Jazz Bass for 4 years now, no sign of peeling.

I ordered inlay stickers from them a few months ago. You wouldn't know they were stickers just by picking it up and playing unless you were really looking for it.

Yeah. I didn't even clean my fretboard before installing them. Probably should have, in retrospect. But to go from pearl dots to pearl blocks was a huge improvement in visibility when I was actively gigging. And the blocks made it easier for my bandmates to see what I was playing and follow along in jam sections.

The "Tele" body just wasn't my thing, even with all the right contours. Sounded killer, looked incredible, just wasn't a guitar I gravitated toward when playing, so I've slowly been parting it out!
