Re: Favorite Strat Bridge HB

Love that Cool Rails. Nice punch and clarity. Great personality. I do mainly jazzy/blues, but it will do rock and country just fine too. It does a great "Knopfler" sound too, when mixed with the other CR/VR.

On the Duncan Side I love a A2 59 and the CC.

Outside of that a friend started winding pickups and his 8.3 A2 HighOrder is really really nice. Extremely warm and open sounding.

I like using the 59 trembucker. It's great for all genres of music. I mostly just play punk stuff and rock.

Re: Favorite Strat Bridge HB

I have a dimarzio virtual vintage solo in the bridge of my strat and its not bad, but its a bit harsh....how do you think a cool rails would compare to this?

Re: Favorite Strat Bridge HB

One of the best sounding strats i ever played had a Pearly Gates in the Bridge pos, just pefect for those classic open position power chords. It was probably helped by the fact i was also playing through the Steve Vai sig Carvin stack. Great Sound
