What is your favorite vintage Strat set?

This thread is moot. I went mono-modern; gen4 Noiseless and a Shawbucker

Gen 4’s are great pickups. They came stock on my 2015 Elite. When I want to run distortion with a Strat the Elite is what I’ll grab first.
I also like the Texas Special’s that came on my 2009 American Special Strat. Very clear sounding pickups and they can handle overdrive and distortion very well.

Bridge split only might be the least useful sound on that guitar, though.

That was my thinking. I was trying to remember the last time I said "Dammit! Need a single bridge tone...I couldn't.
