Feedback elimination?

Final question is there anybody who use an effect (pedal or rack-thing) to eliminate feedback...preferably a cheap way...??

Thanks

Re: Feedback elimination?

BOSS NS-2 in MUTE mode when the pedal is engaged. You can set the threshold level and the response time of the silencer.

Re: Feedback elimination?

Thanks tried one of those yesterday, seems to work to a great extend, guess I'll buy one as well as trying apply wax to my JB pup.

Would you agree that it is an effecient course of action?????

Everybody is welcome to participate...

Re: Feedback elimination?

Boss NS-2 or ISP Decimator seem to be the ones I see recommended most often.

Re: Feedback elimination?

I'd wax the JB before spending more money. it might solve the problem on it's own.

Re: Feedback elimination?

I have found my NS-2 to work fine for me. Set it correct and go! Other things include reducing gain (i used to use way too much). Neways if all other methods fail, i say NS-2

Re: Feedback elimination?

I don't know what other effects you're using, but if your gain is set too high (as mine inevitably is), sometimes you'll get that obnoxious whiny feedback. I've learned to live with it and make it a part of the sound, but that's just me.
