Re: Feels great to find my tone!!

man, with that dean? i would be too :)

i think a decent hardtail HH 6 string would complete my rig.. i'm looking at studio gibbies or hamers, or... (etc) ;)

Re: Feels great to find my tone!!

At 16 (wait! I am 16! Ok, 17, but whatever...), I have a Epi Les Paul, a second-hand Marshall ValveState 65R, and a 1952 Gibson L-48 jazzbox (formerly my grandpa's; he caught his fretting hand in a meat grinder ages ago so he can't play anymore).

The Epi is going, the Marshall will hang around for a bit... but the jazzbox is here to stay. \m/

At 16 my rig:

Ibanez Iceman with Bill Lawrence L500's (love these guitars, must get another one soon)

Crate 60wt SS 1x12 combo (it was actually quite a good little amp, had a Celestion in it which was quite cool at the time)

Big Muff and I think I had an Ibanez chorus pedal too.

Re: Feels great to find my tone!!

Currently during my time as a 16 year old, I've gone through:

A Boss DS1, A boss ds-2, a boss mt-2, a dod grunge, a dunlop wah, and a boss eq. I traded one for another and now all I got is my GE-7. My guitar is a strat knock-off w/a sd invader in the bridge going straight into a Vox AD30VT.

Congrats on getting your tone. I felt the same way when I found mine and some guy told me my axe sounded better than a Fender Standard Fat Strat.
