Fender American Professional Series

Re: Fender American Professional Series

They started shipping these to stores now. My local GC had a sunburst/maple strat and tele.

The strat played and sounded really good, but the tele was outstanding.
It was loud, punchy, and resonant with the brass saddles. The V Mod pickups are voiced really nice, and leave little reason to swap them out. They'll probably sell well if they release them as sets. At some point, I may buy the newer 2 point stamped strat bridges to replace my old Am Std types.

I'm not in a position to be buying another expensive guitar at the moment, but a maple or rosewood Am. Pro tele will be my next guitar.

Re: Fender American Professional Series

Even though I've got my sights set on the Sonic Gray rosewood tele as my next guitar, I've been visiting a local 2 tone SB maple necked tele that I love. I've been tearing it up on that tele at Palmdale GC, and want it, but I'm no longer into sunburst Fenders. I can say with much confidence that my next guitar will be the sonic gray tele. The Am. Pro teles are absolutely great.
