I need to trim the fat guitar-wise (I'm buying an amp), so here's my lovely American Standard Strat. Serial number says it was made in 2000. Finish is three-tone sunburst on a beautiful, resonant three-piece alder body. Neck has a fast satin finish and a very striking 22 fret rosewood board.
It is all stock aside from the following:
- Seymour Duncan Classic Stack set (original mellower-sounding set, not CS+)
- Graphtech nut
- Graphtech saddles
- Schaller straplocks
The nut is currently cut for right-handed string orientation. This would be perfect for a right-hander who wants to do the Hendrix thing; all you have to do is move the strap button. If you want it strung for normal left-handed playing, I will have a new nut (your choice of material and string gauge) installed and cut at no additional charge.
Cosmetically it is flawless aside from two minor problems: a hardly noticeable ding on the back side of the bottom, and a 7mm crack in the finish on the back of the neck near the 1st fret.
I am including a Fender hardshell Strat case, which is in excellent condition as well.
