There must be some folks out there that have one of these so if you do give me some reviews, pros, cons, and how pedals sound with it just some all around info.

Re: Fender Blues Deluxe

FWIW, I think the Blues Deluxe is the better sounding amp in the Deluxe/Deville/etc line. I had 2 of the original issue 90's amps and used them a couple nights a week for a few years. Changed out the speakers to G12-65's and upgraded the tubes. Good volume for clubs and can get downright rude when cranked. Didn't use a lot of pedals beside delay, compressor, clean boost, but the lower headroom may be an issue with overdrive/fuzz. A serious con to this entire line of amps is reliability and build quality; you get what you pay for. Both of mine were basically wrecks after 5 years of dragging them around.

Re: Fender Blues Deluxe

I basically agree with SoPhx, although I had no reliability issues. However, I did not have the amp as long, nor did it get dragged around.

Re: Fender Blues Deluxe

I prefer my Deluxe Reverb over the channel switching blues Deluxe. Put a good stomp box down and you have a channel switching amp! The DR has more headroom and just overall has a better sound.
