I recently bought i fender deluxe reverb II (the rivera design) to replace my HRD. What i really want is a very nice clean channel with a powerful, full clean tone on which i m working with pedals, for overdrives, distortion e.t.c (the old school approach to tone ). Indeed the deluxe reverb II is a big step up in tone compared to HRD.
One of the first things i did is to replace the stock speaker with an eminence tonker i had available and as i said i really like the tone i m getting. On the other hand i m hearing lots of good talk about the cannabis rex.
Can you tell me what are the changes i m gonna see (or rather hear) if i swap the tonker for a canabis rex in the beforementioned amp?
