i have a dynatouch deluxe 90 with a celestion and the regular reverb (not the newer digital effects) ... i like it very very much (and i got it for $250 new) ... i use it for practice with my band (it's too much work to drag the rack rig & cabs around) ... it is plenty loud ( i never get it turned up past 2 in the basement) and i have even gigged with it (mic'd, of course) .. i find it to be very responsive to changes in right hand attack especially on the clean channel - if i dig in a bit, it'll get nice 'n gritty ... it does sound a bit compressed on the 'more gain' setting ...
cant speak for the newer ones with digital effects .. but you could always keep them off and use high quality effects in the loop if need be
it's no boutique tube amp, but for the money and convenience, i am thrilled with it ...
