i did! it had a jazz bridge and a carvin pup in the neck when i got it. traded the jazz to artie i think, still have the carvin pup. its been rockin a set of sns for a while now

I’m so glad that someone here has one of those guitars. It makes my heart happy. Lew was a good guy with lots of knowledge to share.

yep. he could be a bit cranky at times, but we talked a fair amount over the years. he was a good guy with a big heart. when i first got the guitar, i was worried the neck was too small for me, and he was bummed cause he loved it so much, but i got used to it. im happy to keep in the family so to speak.
