Fender HSS Strat

Looking to hotrod my hss fender strat. It has a floyd rose bridge but that I believe isn’t important. The pickup combination I am thinking is a Duncan custom (SH-5) in the bridge, a jb jnr in the middle and a little 59 in the neck. Will this work?

Yea you betcha! I have that exact combo only I have an A8 in the Custom with ceramic spacers.

I think the big sticking point here is what you want out of a middle pickup. Do you want a hot humbucker sound, or do you want to simulate the 2 & 4 'quack' positions of a Strat (the JB Jr won't do this). If you are after an all-out rock machine with 3 flavors of heat, then it will be perfect.

59/JB hybrid, SSL-2 and STK-S7. Split to the inner JB slug coil (magnet oriented so the slug coil is north) and combine it with the middle SSL-2 for position 2. Use a treble bleed with the neck and split the neck for position 4.
