Fender Kantana for sale!

Theres a second hand guitar/amp shop near where i live.
Along with a whole load of old strats and pauls i found this fender kantana.
I dont know much about them but ive heard that its a very rare model made in japan.

this guitar is selling for $1200 AUD or about $500 USD.
it was supposedly made in 1985... does anyone know about these models?

They were supposed to be Fender's mid-late 80's attempt to break into the "Heavy Metal Guitar" market. They didn't do too hot. I have no idea what kind of rep they have beyond that or if they sound good.
