I'd like to try out some bass eventually and this looks like something I'd enjoy. A while back I thought about getting the Squier Bronco but was put off by the thin body.
What do you think? 999 is a bit more than the Squier but I think the quality will be too.
One more thing, MF says it's a limited reissue. Anyone noticed when these came out or know how long they are usually available? I'd rather not spend so much money right now but after checking ebay I'd end up paying the same for a used instrument (after taxes and shipping, of course). Then again it might be a mistake by MF (anyone can confirm or deny this?).
In essence, worth it or not?
I like the antique white, especially when compared to the red one (it looks cheap to me) and the tort would match my Cyclone altough I'm a black perloid fan (didn't change the cyclone because the tort matched the copper metallic finish).
