fender noiseless

Just got some for my strat havnt got a chance to drop them yet but i have played them in the store. Any one got any comments on them?

Considering the bad rap these pickups get, I thought they sounded pretty good. But I only had a chance to check them out briefly...the guy who owned them left me his Strat with the Noiseless pickups just long enough for me to take them out and replace them! (laugh!)

I have them in my Strat. Very clean and bell like sounds. However, the wiring diagram they sent with the package was wrong and I had to figure it out myself. I called Fender Tech Support to verify my wiring and they confirmed it. It turned out that people complained a lot because they wired them wrong. They sound more compacted than regular single coils and they can push the amp if you want, they do have the punch despite a lot of people complained about them having no power.

Whats wrong about the wiring diagram?

They didn't tell you what wires and from where they should go to the output jack and the five way switch was missing a jumper wire.
