Hey Fender geeks, do you have any recommendation for buying real vintage Fender pickups in period from 1967 to 1975?
I have 68 Telecaster, pickups (see pics) seem to me replacements and especially neck has very tone and looks like a moder replacement to me. I am concidering buying a vintage pickups (both bridge and neck) and replace. I don´t search for any current replacement, need the real ones. Question is:
1. which period of late 60ś or early 70s would you recommend? The quality and frequence response certainly changed in those years
2. what was an usual impedance of Tele pickups bridge / neck were in this period?
