Fender Roland Ready Stratocaster

Re: Fender Roland Ready Stratocaster

Have you ever seen a Roland VG-8, or similar device that requires a synth-pickup? It's got one of those built in.

Re: Fender Roland Ready Stratocaster

it allows you to plug into guitar synths.... basicly so you can play horns, strings and keyboard sounds on a guitar

that's the sillyiest idea I have ever heard...when I play guitar I want to play guitar, not tuba or something...something tells me they're not making much money off of that thing.

You can drive a midi keyboard or synth module with it. You need an interface of some sort and something that generates tone. You should be able to plug the guitar into an amp like normal, then use the Roland output to drive the synth. Or you can just drive the synth. I was looking into putting a Ghost system into my strat a while back but money got too tight.

Actually, it's not silly at all. There's a lot of interest in it and it allows you do play keys if you don't play keys.

Sorry man, but go look at Roland's website, and check out the number of synths they have. Have you seriously never heard of guitar synths before?
