Fender start or ESP/Ibanez/Jackson for shredding?

What up guys. I am looking to ad to my arsenal. Is there really a difference between a fender strat with 6100 frets and custom pups vs. a Ibanez or ESP Lynch strat?

theres a really really big diff. A buddy of mine has an RG and my strat just blows it out of the water in any amp. Real Strats just have mojo and tone that no other guitar can capture. A strat with a good fret job and high definition pup's can do shred with no problem.

plus the neck is comfortable. Ibanezes have these little pencil thin planks for necks.

yeah i really dont dig ibanez's at all. either of the others are good though.

Usually strats have thicker bodies with less routing done to them and thicker necks, which will change the sound compared to say, an Ibanez S or RG series model. This will add up to change the tone considerably.

Well I love strats I got one. but for shredding speed.

IMO a USA Jackson outplays A strat and most ESPs for faster stuff. There´s something about the Speed and Soloist/Rhoads profiles that just feels "right" in my hands, particularly on an unfinished neck :headbang:
