Fender Strat Question..

I've been guitar shopping for awhile now. I had it narrowed down to the epiphone les paul, until I saw this-http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=guitar/content/doc_id=91865/base_pid=510637

Now, obviously since im looking into a epiphione not a gibson, I dont have $1300 for a gutiar. Heres my problem, I cant seem to find a Maple necked Strat in that color (pewter they call it).

So can anyone tell me if they have (or do) make a strat in that color with a maple neck that I just havent found yet?

i have seen quite a few MIM Pewter Strats on eBay...just wait for another one to be posted...dont rush into getting new gear you dont want to regret it later!

i saw an older used american fat strat in that pewter color today, around $550 i think. they are around, keep your eye out

Kool, im not rushing into anything, been waiting it out for awhile now with this new guitar lol. Just wanted to know if they existed :).

Fender makes 2 or 3 guitars all at different price points with a pewtery finish but AFAIK they're all RW boards so you'd have to do a neck swap. Buy you could still find those used on ebay and do a neck swap (or get a Warmoth one) and have a cool customized job.
