fender super 112

hey bros,

can anyone tell me about fender's red knobbed super 112? there's one going for $400 here. so is it a yay or nay?

my dad has one. Its an alright amp, i actually like the overdrive channel a lot. the clean channel is not very good in my opinion. It sounds weak to me, and breaks up very easy. The overdrive channel can sound real thick, and with theres a few ways to tweak it to sound more crunchy, more middy, or more fuzzy.

Not a bad amp. I think that's a Paul Rivera design from his days at Fender. The ones that I've heard sounded good in a band situation.

Not sure about this, I this this might be a Zinky design, if I remember right--its after Rivera-era amps.

These are not my favorite amps. I think you can do better.
