Fender Texas Specials

I am putting this set in my tele with a standard mordern tele setup but I hit a bump, the neck pup has three wires rather than two. Any info on wth to do whith that 3rd wire is very much appreciated. :smack:

It's been awhile since I tampered with either of my Tele's pickups...I think it's 1 hot wire,neck cover gets it's own ground lead,and then your regular ground lead? I'm using the Texas Special neck pickup in one of my Teles but I honestly don't remember the third wire.. :smack:
