I was wondering how good the 100 watt Fender Twin Amps are. I'm in a position where I can get a brand new one for $600, and I'm trying to figure out how amazing these amps are.

Naps said:Is it the two channel amp with the 1/4 power switch? A guitarist in a band I was in used to use one of those. The distortion was ok, but not great. The clean channel was really nice though. I think he paid $950 or so. So, $600 is a really good deal.
Dude, if you have pedals to flavor it, then hell, go for it. Fender amps to me are the finest quality meat with no seasoning, and a tube screamer flavors it well. But anyway, they're amazing amps, you should really look into it unless you're a heavy rock/metal guy. They'll do damn near anything else. Ask TGWIF about his.Televators said:I was wondering how good the 100 watt Fender Twin Amps are.
