Tilted, or parallel to the body? I believe Fender's recommendation is tilt. Are there reasons to raise the posts for parallel?

How much pull-up are you looking for? If you want G to go up a minor third, raising the posts is going to raise action. Micro-Tilt might be able to be used to angle the neck to adjust for it, but it's easier to just tilt.
I've setup both a locking Fender 2-point and a stamped saddle 2-point bridge to do a slight float for vibrato and the minor third pull up by using the tilt method.
