Fidel'itron Help!

I traded for a Squier Carbonita bass. While I LOVE the tone, the volume level SUCKS. Where to begin?

I found my guitar Filtron is super sensitive to hight I would try raising the pickup a bit.

I can concur this with the TV Jones I installed in a Tele. Took a fair amount of fiddling to get it into the sweet spot.

Filter’trons aren’t wound very hot. That gives them a wider frequency response.

Not sure how accurate the Fender version is. The real thing has a thicker magnet for more output.

Maybe the hotter TVJones versions would be more to your liking.
