I can concur this with the TV Jones I installed in a Tele. Took a fair amount of fiddling to get it into the sweet spot.

DavidRavenMoon New member Oct 13, 2018 #5 Re: Fidel'itron Help! Filter’trons aren’t wound very hot. That gives them a wider frequency response. Not sure how accurate the Fender version is. The real thing has a thicker magnet for more output. Maybe the hotter TVJones versions would be more to your liking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
