[PENDING SALE] Fralin comes with box and sticker on lead:

Double cream boutique pair:

• WCR Filmore neck, 7.72 Kohm.
• MJ wound Brobucker 9.94 Kohm. Has had a magnet change but the original magnet is definitely back in and correct tape applied.

These two are too warm and fat for my taste. I would like to trade for other boutique pickups, ideally WCR or Seymour Duncan Custom shop.

• Need boutique neck humbuckers, or bridge pickups failing that. Ideally something like '78 neck or somesuch. Let me know, I like to try stuff.

Is the Fralin nickel-covered or black? How does it compare to a Pearly Gates in the bridge? Would you sell it since I dont have anything on your trade list?

Is the Fralin nickel-covered or black? How does it compare to a Pearly Gates in the bridge? Would you sell it since I dont have anything on your trade list?

It's non-chrome nickel cover with the usual shade lines under the strings (visible in the photo). I would want $80 shipped for it.

I don't like the PG, I don't like it's sizzle. The Fralin is more like a classic PAF tone with no extra "stuff" in it. This 9K Fralin is also quite a bit hotter than a typical PG.

I'll look up the Fralin color on the weekend, assuming I can see it from the bobbin holding screw holes. As I said, I'd include a Sharpie for free

I have a Trembucker Distortion that i would trade for it. It was factory installed in a Washburn USA MG and the tabs were drilled for direct mount however.[/I]

Folks, I gotta ponder the trade options on the WCR/Brobucker. My primary trade goals aren't coming in and I need to read about what's available. Bear with me a while longer.
