Final Sacrifice instrumental :D

Davey

Goliath of Tone
the clip is done, apart of a couple mistakes in the playing (which i blame on the little red Rec light grrr). there is also one minor backtrack timing issue near the end, which is because my computer sucks, but i think it can be overlooked

the backtrack is a midi (big thanks to the guy who did the Guitar Pro4 tabs) had problems with it since i'm not using my brain that often >.< couldnt save the mixdown LOL

i'm leaving the old one up, so you can compare if you wish

so, here to all you naysayers that the JB aint got enough low end :fing25:
Final Sacrifice

Re: Final Sacrifice instrumental :D

That JB Sounds huge.

You kinda overpowered the track man, but its a deffinate improvement playing wise on yesterday

Sick metal tone, bass is spot on :D

Re: Final Sacrifice instrumental :D

sankyoo *bows*

the backtrack gets a bit lost lol.. and i even did a 1dB cut on the guitar track. i know it's not much but it makes a diference

we'll probably hear from TO tomorrow when he goes back to work =P
i wonder what he'll be saying about the clip

Re: Final Sacrifice instrumental :D

He's just lost his pc in amongst all the guitars and amps back at his house thats all...

Re: Final Sacrifice instrumental :D

WOW.

It sounds huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. JB rocks! :D

Did you use the guitar port for that???!!!!

Cool clip!

Re: Final Sacrifice instrumental :D

great stuff

about that "it wouldnt let me mixdown" issue...
for somereason recording programs cant seem to be able to mix sound tracks with MIDI tracks.
the solution to this is opening guitarpro4 and instead of exporting the MIDI, export a WAV. track. then load it into your recording program and record your guitar tracks and walla you can mix down. :D
be careful tho, wav. files tend to be ****ing huge. a 5 minute wav can weigh 40MB.

Re: Final Sacrifice instrumental :D

I come and I go, but I always seem to return to the JB. It does sound big! Good one ya!

Re: Final Sacrifice instrumental :D

yea, figured that one out later, i just recorded the midi to wav... and 40MB isnt such big an issue =)
the guitar track alone was recorded at 192k and was about 400megs hehe
it's cool how the proggy compresses it all to 5MB without much loss in quality =)
