Finally found the sound I was looking for....

Thx to all who helped me with their advice.
Sounds amazing and is very versatile.
JB bridge, SVR mid, and Lil 59b neck.
Thought the Lil 59b was going to be muddy in neck position but not at all. Using 500k pots,1 vol.,1 tone(for all pu's),push/pulls for both b and n,switch for bridge pu.
Thx again, you guys are the best.

Yummly. Looks a lot like my Jolly Roger Cutlasscaster except for a few details here and there.

Congrats. I keep coming back to the jb. I really groove well with that pickup.

Re: Finally found the sound I was looking for....

Can you go into the Little '59b in the neck position a little bit? That's got me curious.

Re: Finally found the sound I was looking for....

Thought is was going to sound muddy because of hotter wind than the neck position to compensate for lack of bass in bridge position. Now I haven't heard a Lil59n but the lil59b in the neck almost sounds like a full humbucker. In series it has more mids than bass and rounded highs, love it for leads.Nice output. Doesn't have the bass of an A2P neck hb which is in my LP (which i think is a little too bassy for my taste). Split, is also great. Especially in the 4th pos, with the SVR, it quacks!! Nice treble. It was a toss between a lil59b(for 40$) or a new Hot Rails n. I think i will have to try the Hot Rails to replace my old STK-1n in my Kramer eventually.
