Finally got the strat redone // need some uninstall help

Hey guys,

Finally got my 59n and Custom Custom in for the strat and let me say, WOW. Nails that VH tone I was going for and does just about everything but metal (but to be fair, not my kinda thing and haven't tried to). The Custom Custom is crunchy and gritty and really added a lot more bite to my strat. In fact, when I played VH I had to use a boost, now I don't even need to boost due to the CC.

A lot has been said about the 59n so I will leave it at that, but I haven't hit a tone I haven't liked out of it yet!!

A question however... my tech put on a new pickguard so my old pickguard is still loaded with my old pots, switches, and single coil and old HB. I will take a pic of it -- I need help disassembling it so I can sell the HB and stow away the SC.

Your help is much appreciated!!

Indeed I do! I have used one before, not much, to repair guitar cables, but nothing too intense. I am just not sure what leads I need to detatch and what kind of clean up is involved. Again, the SC I want to box and keep incase the strat goes back to original config, and the HB I want to sell. The other stuff can stay on there for all I care.

Thanks for the advice, will get on this soon!

By the way for clarification, I am just taking off these pups, not resoldering them anywhere, I just noticed a lot of wiring going on and did not want to mess anything up.

Also, I used too many double negatives. In respect to the 59n every tone I get out of it, I enjoy! ha.

Thanks for the input guys, you really are a great community.
