Finally My Pedalboard is done

Picked up 2 pedals today, finally finished my on going quest for a pedal board. Tried trimming it down to essentials and a perk or two.

Line 6 G30
Boss TU-2 Tuner
MXR Zakk Wylde Wah
Ernie Ball Jr Volume Pedal
Keeley DS1
Boss TR-2 Tremolo
MXR Black Label CHorus
MXR Carbon Copy Delay

Re: Finally My Pedalboard is done

Looks great! I myself wouldn't populate it so much with Boss pedals though...

Re: Finally My Pedalboard is done

He has the exact same amount of Boss pedals as you. One of which barely counts because it's just a tuner (and an industry standard one, at that) and another one that barely counts because it's a Keeley.

Just sayin'.

I don't see the problem with Boss pedals, but I guess it depends on the sound you want. Works wonders for what I do.

Nice board :)

I'm not a huge fan of boss. Never was. The tuner is hands down one of the best. The ds1 is modded by keeley. The tremolo was had for around 60. Not bad for a budget tremolo.

Re: Finally My Pedalboard is done

I plan on having keeley mod the tremolo so that won't really count as a boss as well ha

Re: Finally My Pedalboard is done

Looks great to me. You dont need to change a thing if it works for you. I know I could work with it for sure.

Re: Finally My Pedalboard is done

looks like a nice little set up, do you ever step on the mxr knobs tryin to get to the boss stomps?

Can't say I have.

I have the chorus and delay on the bottom for a couple reasons; I use them more frequently and it's easier to run the cable to the amp from them.

The DS1 is only used on occassion and so sis the tremelo.

makes sense. i put the lesser used pedals further as well.

Re: Finally My Pedalboard is done

What kind of pedals you running? Seeing how you have a Mark IV? Probably don't need many pedals as well.

g50-->dimebag wah-->pitch black-->whammy II-->maxon OD9-->decimator-->mark iv. send of loop-->mxr 10 band-->tc flashback-->return.

Nice looking board... What kind of rack you using? I'm not a metal fan, but I love metal amps for the capabilities and gain stages if that makes since.

Jealous of the Mark series soooooooooo many tonal options.

Thanks on the pedal board

For the rack, I've got a rocktron xpression multi-effects which I only use for digital delay, An old Lexicon Alex, MXR Micro Chorus, MXR Carbon Copy, Danelectro Fish n Chips EQ, and an ISP Noise decimator. All midi switchable using a Rolls RP-93S... The Rolls unit does the amp switching and the switching of the reverb unit as well as signal routing for the four pedals. All controlled by the Tech 21 midi controller on the pedal board. I eventually want to have the front of amp pedals under midi control also so the only things I need to touch would be the tuner, the midi controller and the wah. Waiting for a certain signal router to become available at http://peak2005.com or until I can score an old Axess switcher on ebay.
