Re: Finally some pics of my gear!

How's the Schecter compare to a real tele.

I'm quite a fan of washburn

Re: Finally some pics of my gear!

That's a nice Schecter. That's a USA custom, isn't it? Very sharp.

Re: Finally some pics of my gear!

the USA Schecter is an absolute top notch instrument...the build quality is definitely on par with USA Fender stuff and in some cases even better! it's also in really good shape for a 20+ year old guitar! it's absolutely wonderful to play and cuts through the mix like nobody's business!

they didn't really have a name back when this was made (Schecter made fender replacement parts only then, and word is that Anderson built these!)...it's the grandfather of the PT and some have called it the "Saturn"?!

Re: Finally some pics of my gear!

Very nice, Mike. You're making me wish my Blues Jr. was blonde. It just looks smokin' with those guitars propped up against it.

Re: Finally some pics of my gear!

I'm such a sucker for those Blues Jr's.....

Re: Finally some pics of my gear!

i really can't express enough how much i'm loving my "sound" right now...the past few times our band has played there have been several times where i've been playing and really listened intently to my tone and thought..."WoW, i cannot believe that's really me sounding like that!"

i'm living proof that gear inspires a person to play better! and although my stuff may not be "all that" it's working pretty good in making me a MUCH more confident player!

Re: Finally some pics of my gear!

not too good i'm afraid...i think their window of opportunity was slammed shut when Reggie retired and Ronnie retarded!:smack:

all i can do now is hope...:chairfall

Re: Finally some pics of my gear!

Nice stuff Bro, I particularily like the Epi.

I'd love a 335 type guitar but getting another hole in my head is more likely to happen.

Re: Finally some pics of my gear!

the epi is a 1969 US made...it needs some new frets but is still playable...it has a real "vintage" sound to it...i know that's a cheezy description but i don't really know how else to describe it...kinda has a Robert Johnson kinda thing goin on ya know!?

That's what it's all about! I especially like the gold hardware on Big Red. Sweeeet!
