Finally starting to find my sounds (headbanging content inside)

Here's a new project I'm working with, inspired by the Superior Drummer metal test that I posted earlier this week.



I didn't have my bass around but I'll record it asap I get my hands on it. Then I'll make the guitars a bit more brighter. IMO it sounds quite okay now.

E: I found a singer btw who is also a really good guitarist. Let's see what we manage to come up with.

Hah, for sure man. I'll definitely get right on that as soon as I get setup. It's only taken forever.

What monitors are you using again?

I'm using the first generation KRK Rokit 5s. These are quite good. Alesis M1 520 are maybe the best monitors if you are on a tight budget. They are definitely worth checking out. IMO they compare easily to more mid-budget monitors too (almost as good as my KRKs I think).
